Common Plumbing Problems in Glen Eden
Blocked Drains
Heavy clay swells in winter and shrinks in summer, and that movement pulls drain joints out of line. The lip it leaves catches paper and waste, so we clear the blockage and use the camera to see if the pipe has shifted. Blocked Drains across Auckland.
Hot Water Repairs
Shifting clay can move outdoor pipework and stress connections at external cylinders and gas units. We check those joints for leaks as part of any repair on an outside system. Hot Water Cylinder Repairs across Auckland.
Drain Cleaning
Clay ground movement can cause small misalignments where debris builds up over time. Regular cleaning stops those spots becoming full blockages and lets us monitor any worsening. Drain Cleaning across Auckland.
Emergency Plumber
Ground movement in clay can snap an underground supply pipe or crack a drain overnight, especially after a long dry spell or heavy rain. We find the break, stop the flow and tell you whether a quick repair will hold. Emergency Plumber in Glen Eden.
Working in Glen Eden
In the foothills of the Waitākere Ranges, on a mix of Waitākere volcanic soils and Waitemata sedimentary rock, with red clay that once fed local brickworks.
